Architect Les W. Travis came on board at GGWArchitects in October, 2002 with a wealth of experience.

A major influence in the development of Les’ experience was a long term association with Southern California Edison.  While there, Les successfully supervised and managed all aspects of training related projects.  At SCE, Les was Project Manager for the development of several information and educational training centers.  During the 1990’s special emphasis was placed on the development of Work Force 2000.  This effort was specifically related to developing a design concept for the Corporate Training Center to meet the needs of the future work force.   He gained experience in providing learning areas with graphics, visuals, and other educational data...Les also completed a number of other technical training facilities at other locations.

Overall, Les’ project experience has included supervision of collective teams, including Project Managers, Architects, Landscape Architects, CAD Technicians, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers; all supporting an annual average $20 to $30-million workload in Project expenditures. The practical experience of managing a large Architectural full-service firm within a corporation has provided Les with the experience essential to succeed in the project management role.
